LAYAN AL KHALEDIAH is one of those fillies, that nobody can pass without being excited, and this is what happened immediately with everyone who saw her for the very first time during her show debut in April 2007 at the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championships. She "only" became Reserve Champion, but everybody spoke about her, everybody loved her, even competitors agreed and there was only one opinion: SHE IS something special!
LAYAN Al Khalediah is a daughter of Multi Champion, the World Reserve Champion Stallion 2005 and 2006, and the 2007 Las Vegas Breeders World Cup Champion, DAKHARO, and out of the 1989 born PADRONS AMOUR (by Padron). LAYAN very much resembles both parents, having the classical stamp of DAKHARO with the long and stretchy elegance of her dam, and she has it all: type, charisma, face, neck, body, balance, quality, and movement - simply all qualities of beauty and correctness!
LAYAN AL KHALEDIAH was born in the desert in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in early 2006. Already in the very first days and weeks, her breeder and owner, HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan Al Saud, knew that he had a very, very special jewel with her, and he simply loves her! Everybody who saw LAYAN, just confirmed that she is very special. And this unanimous judgement was also mirrored also in the success of her very first shows. Not only in Dubai she jumped out and came out like a storm and was the instant star. Ten days later, at the International A-rated show in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, with another group of judges she became unanimous Champion Filly, and was again the people's favorite. Very seldom it happens, that everybody is so much in one and only opinion about a horse - but with LAYAN it is: she is marvellous, a first class epitome of the breed!
Having left her country of origin and birth, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, LAYAN AL KHALEDIAH is now on her way to be based with the European Training Center, in Belgium, to be shown throughout Europe in all 2007 by Philippe Hosay who has a special feeling to this cute filly, too. LAYAN represents Al Khalediah Stables as her proud breeders and owners, but also the colours and flag of Saudi Arabia going for some more - much more - success!
