SAN JOSE ALFONSINA was bred in Chile, moving between different countries in South and North America before the professional show trainer Scott Allman purchased her on behalf of Sheikh Mohammed Saud Al Qasimi from Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. The 1998 born had already been shown successfully a few months previously achieving the title as 2005 Champion Mare reserve in Argentina. In 2006, SAN JOSE ALFONSINA arrived at Allman's training center in Germany, and was prepared for some major shows in Europe. She was in foal to the Padrons Psyche grandson AB MAGNUM (by Magnum Psyche), and during this period, she foaled her 2006 colt named ALFONZO.
SAN JOSE ALFONINA is a very nice and typey mare with a really sweet and handsome character. Her sire is the well known stallion HAFATI EXPRESS from Brazil, and her dam is HAFATI BEL CHARM. SAN JOSE ALFONSINA's feminine appearance, combined with a long elegant neck, a wonderful big dark eye, and the powerful, feminine trot that the mare displays, makes her a new and valuable additive to Sheikh Mohammed's Albidayer Stud.
Arriving for the very first time in her new home, the desert emirate of Sharjah, SAN JOSE ALFONSINA competed in January 2007 at the national show in Ajman, and achieved her first success in the Middle East, judged for Champion Mare with her stablemate ESKALOPKA in reserve. San Jose Alfonsina is in foal to the famous young stallion, MARAJJ for an exciting 2007 foal.
