At the 2006 Dubai International, when still a baby foal at his dam's side, AJ DINAR, who was born in October 2005, was one of the most eyecatching horses at this show, and really spectacular. He impressed everybody with his stallion like attitude and the swan neck which he curved when he faced or came close to another foal, screaming like a stallion but with a small and high pitched voice. He was really acting like a stallion at only 5 months of age. At the end, and without any doubt, AJ DINAR won sovereign of his foal class and achieved his first ribbons and the title as Dubai DIAHC Foal Champion.
AJ DINAR is bred and owned by HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the proud owner of the famous Ajman Stud, in the United Arab Emirates. AJ DINAR was one of the very first homebred horses presented from this stud who already had achieved many successes and titles internationally but with horses the Sheikh had bought. AJ DINAR, who carries the prefix 'AJ" for Ajman and Ajman Stud, was a very first representative of the Ajman Stud's homebred horses. And he did an excellent job, as nobody could overlook this very expressive foal, and he immediately had established his name and his reputation amongst the show people.
AJ DINAR is a son of WH Justice, whom Sheikh Ammar was greatly interested in even before he became famous as a sire. The new mare DESKA HJE, a former World Reserve Champion Filly, acquired in Italy at the end of 2004, was bred to this stallion when she was still in Europe and before she was exported to the Emirates. The results of this mating is AJ DINAR who definetely captured several attributes from each side of his parents.
As yearling and later on in junior age, this colt with the significant attitude and striking markings and blaze achieved several show successes and championship titles, including the ribbons as Middle East Champion Colt and Qatar International A-Show Champion Colt. All results can be seen below in the detailed listing of records. Having been shown throughout the Middle East in 2006 and 2007, his owner decided to send him over to Europe to represent the Ajman Stud and to see how he would do there. With his powerful movement and masculine attitude, AJ DINAR regularly flew into the ring and caught everyone's attention. Unfortunately he had a strong competitor in his age group of three-year-old colts each time, which is why he achieved in these months in Europe "only" 2nd or 3rd placings. The "strong competitor/s" were nobody less than the later 2008 Aachen and World Champion Colt, BAANDEROS, and the 2008 Elran Cup and World Reserve Champion Colt, QR MARC. So there is no shame to lose against such colts, while AJ DINAR had improved his quality already, and has even beaten the 2008 World Champion BAANDEROS to reserve earlier in the year at the Qatar International Show.
In 2009, AJ DINAR will come into the stallions' group, and will prove himself not only as a show stallion but also as a breeding stallion. So we will be looking forward to see his first foals in the near future, to if or how he stamps his foals.
